01Basic information set
- Make, model, generation, build year and month where known.
- Body style, engine size or code, and drivetrain when relevant to the item.
- VIN for catalogue checking; share it privately with a seller and do not post it publicly.
- Clear photographs of the fitted part, attachment and markings with useful dimensions visible.
- A description of modifications that may have changed the factory configuration.
When manual verification is needed
If catalogues disagree, the vehicle is a transition-year build or it has been modified, do not promise fitment by guesswork. Compare OEM number, measurements and photographs. For safety-related systems, a qualified specialist should make the final decision after inspection.
