- Match the part number, installation side, quantity and stated application on the packaging.
- Inspect the body, threads, connectors, attachments and working surfaces for damage.
- Compare key dimensions and mounting-point positions with the removed original part.
- Check all contents: adapters, seals, fasteners and instructions should match the description.
- Photograph a mismatch beside the product markings and a measuring tool.
If you are uncertain
Do not file, drill or connect an item 'just to test it' until the seller or specialist confirms the correct process. Modification may hide the original issue. Braking, steering and electrical systems require professional assessment.
