A printed circle does not mean every magnetic case works in the same way. Ring position, how it is fixed into the shell, material thickness and the phone's own compatibility all affect charging and mounting.
01Five practical checks
- Choose a case for the exact phone model and body size.
- Confirm that it contains a physical magnetic ring rather than only a decorative print.
- Check that the ring is centred over the phone's charging coil.
- For an in-car mount, test the hold with that mount's actual magnetic face.
- During the first few days, check for interrupted charging or unusual heat.
What to remember
Holding force belongs to the case-and-accessory pair, not one magnet alone. Thick inserts, metal plates and cards between the phone and charger can interfere. Use a compatible removable wallet for bank cards and take it off while charging.
