Blades of the same length may use different attachments, profiles and adapter sets. Matching only the old blade or vehicle make is unreliable: one model can use different arms and sizes depending on year and specification.

- Vehicle make, model, year and generation.
- Installation position: driver, passenger or rear window.
- The length of each original blade measured separately.
- A clear top and side photograph of the attachment with the arm raised.
- Left- or right-hand-drive configuration where it affects the set.
Check after fitting
Before driving, operate the blades carefully on a wet windscreen. They must not collide, run off the glass, catch a seal or remain loose in an adapter. Do not run new blades over dry, dirty glass, as this can damage the wiping edge immediately.
