Most installation defects come from dust, a damp surface or an attempt to reposition an already bonded part rather than from the adhesive itself. Preparation takes longer than placement, but it greatly reduces the risk of reflections and a poor fit.
01Installation sequence
- Remove the case, wash and dry your hands, and choose a well-lit place without a draught.
- Clean the camera block with the wet wipe, then the dry wipe, and lift remaining specks with a dust sticker.
- Before removing the liner, test the protector's position and note how every opening aligns.
- Peel the liner while holding the edges, align the part and lower it without sliding it across the surface.
- Press lightly around the perimeter and allow the adhesive to settle as directed by the manufacturer.
Final check
Inspect the edges in side light, fit the case and make sure it does not lift the protector. Then test the camera with and without flash. Do not try to force a dust speck out by pressing hard over a camera lens.
