A tiny mark on a protector ring does not always require immediate replacement. What matters is whether damage crosses a lens area, the adhesive still holds, and any sharp chips or fragments have appeared.

A safer way to remove it
Switch the phone off, remove the case and avoid metal tools near the lens. Lift an edge with a plastic card or purpose-made removal tool without pressing on the camera. Clean the surface afterwards and inspect the actual lens in good light.
