Checks, step by step

  1. Identify whether the vehicle uses bolts or nuts. Provide wheel markings and vehicle details. Hardware that screws in is not necessarily suitable for the new wheel.

  2. Check seat, thread and working length against documentation. Any centring ring depends on the particular hub and wheel combination. It cannot correct an unsuitable PCD or offset.

  3. Agree quantity and tightening tools. Obtain torque from applicable vehicle and wheel requirements, not a universal chart. Follow the specified post-fitting checks and consult a workshop if uncertain.
