Checks, step by step

  1. Find the specified torque in the vehicle or component documentation. Choose a suitable range, drive and socket. Follow use, storage and verification instructions; there is no single torque for all wheels.

  2. Check jack capacity, pickup/lift heights and approved vehicle lifting points. Use only under conditions allowed by the manual. Never go beneath a vehicle supported solely by a jack.

  3. Describe the job before buying: wheel change, controlled tightening or repair. Entrust repair lifting to an equipped workshop. A manager can check product specifications, but buying a tool is not training in safe use.
