Which photos help identify a part

A useful request needs clear detail rather than a polished car photo. A few carefully chosen pictures help a manager understand what needs replacing.

Checks, step by step

  1. Photograph the whole part in good light. If it is still fitted, show its position on the car. Say front or rear and left or right; a picture labelled only ‘this one’ is ambiguous.

  2. Take separate close-ups of markings, connectors and fixings. Keep the full number readable. A ruler helps describe a small clip, but similar dimensions do not establish fitment.

  3. Add make, model, year and any known part number. Do not send an entire identity or registration document. Leave a contact, or use WhatsApp when urgent. A photograph alone confirms neither availability nor fitment.
