How to choose the correct part

To choose a part, we need to know your car and what needs replacing. If you do not know the name, start with a photo and a simple description.

What to prepare for selection

1

Vehicle: make, model, year

2

Part: overall view and fixings

3

Number: the whole marking, if available

Teaching diagram. Numbers and dimensions are fictional or illustrative, not a selection for your car.

What to do, step by step

  1. Identify the vehicle

Provide make, model and production year. Add engine or VIN if known. 'Generation' means a version of the model across particular years; the manager can help identify it.

  2. Show the part you need

Photograph the whole part, then its number, fixings and connector. Left and right mean the sides when sitting in the car facing forwards.

  3. Get confirmation before paying

Confirm fitment, price, availability and box contents. One model can use different parts. Unknown details need checking rather than guessing.

More detail and common mistakes
  • Provide make, model, generation and production year. Registration year may differ from manufacturing year.
  • Photograph the old part, markings and fixings. Installation side, connectors and configuration matter.
  • Before payment, confirm the exact number, package contents, availability, price and collection terms. Do not fit the part while compatibility remains uncertain.
