Clips and brackets: describing small parts

Small fixings can be hard to name. Showing their shape and location is more useful than guessing a name from somebody else's photo.

Checks, step by step

  1. Take full photos from both sides beside a ruler. Show the location: liner, bumper, trim or undertray. State the quantity separately.

  2. Hole size, length, head shape and locking mechanism may differ. A broken sample can distort dimensions. Colour and a similar head do not make a fixing universal.

  3. Brackets need the side and hole arrangement; kits need a contents list. Following an impact, have supports inspected before ordering trim. Send any readable part number.
