Shared card shared between employees
WHO, WHERE AND UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS
ACS — access control and management systems
Designing access for doors, checkpoints, elevators, and secure zones with event logs and emergency logic.
ACS manages business access rules, not just opens the door with a card. Rights, schedules, guest access, emergency opening, and security actions are set before installation.
PRACTICAL SCENARIO
How the solution helps in a real-world situation
The employee only goes to their office and only during working hours. Any attempt to access the server room is logged and linked to video footage, and in case of a fire alarm, evacuation doors enter an agreed safe state.
WHERE THE RESULT IS LOST
The problem is rarely located in a single device
We check the project, installation, settings, power, data, and maintenance as a single chain.
After dismissal, access remains active
Lock and door do not match pedestrian flow
Fire and Emergency Logic Only Tested on Paper

Questions: acs
Short answers to questions that affect the composition, cost, and reliability of the solution.
01What is included in one access point?
Controller, reader, identifier, lock or actuator, door sensor, exit button, power, and cabling. The composition depends on the door and safety requirements.
02Can I use my phone instead of a card?
Yes, if the chosen system supports mobile identifiers and it is convenient for the process. We keep a backup access method and management of lost devices.
03What happens during a power outage?
The behavior of the door is determined by its purpose and safety requirements. We design the power reserve and check which doors remain closed and which should be unlocked.
04Can I link a passage to a video recording?
Yes. The event of a card or door is linked to the camera and time to quickly check who actually passed and whether there was no tailgating.
05How do I remove the access of a terminated employee?
The identifier is blocked in the system, and the termination procedure should include revocation of all rights. For distributed sites, centralized management is set up.
06Can standalone controllers be upgraded?
Often yes, but we first check doors, readers, cables, and ID format. Sometimes part of the peripherals is retained, and controllers are combined into a network.
